Nedap AEOS Controller AP8001
The AP8001 is the distributed intelligence of the AEOS system. In this AEOS Processing Unit(AEpu), the user defines the desired local functionality by activating behaviour components. All authorisations for the connected readers are stored in the AEpu. Each AEpu can function as a stand-alone unit or can be connected to the IP network to communicate with other AEpus and IP-based devices in the network. This can be achieved without intervention of the AEOS server, with which the connected equipment also communicates by IP.

SiPass Module-Messaging
Providing security around the clock is a challenge for every facility. The high cost of employing security guards overnight is prohibitive‚ but the risks of potential security breaches when the site is unmanned are huge. The message forwarding option solves this problem.

The ASE5300-MF messaging software allows the system to automatically send custom text messages to pagers‚ mobile telephones or by e-mail. Using the latest telecommunication technology‚ it is possible to notify key personnel‚ who may otherwise be absent from a premises‚when security has been breached..

This allows a timely and appropriate response to any alarm situation. ASE5300-MF software can also forward alarms and messages to other SiPass integrated servers' central controlling software‚ residing on the same LAN/WAN. If a business with a SiPass integrated system is not manned‚ alarms can be automatically forwarded to a location with security operators who are monitoring SiPass based activity.

SiPass Module-Guard Tour
Electrical equipment provides superior surveillance‚ but if unseen by intruders it is not a good deterrent. Guards provide a highly visual security component‚ and if used correctly provide an excellent intrusion deterrent.

Guard Tour conveniently integrates your access control and security network with a state-of-the-art electronic patrol verification system. Guard Tour uses the same infrastructure as the SiPass integrated system - be it card readers or any other access or input device. There is no need to install additional equipment to monitor guard patrols‚ as it is already in place.

A guard can be tracked as he/she patrols your site. The same device used to indicate his or her position in a tour is also used to unlock doors and turn on alarm systems. This enables guards to generate real-time duress alarms‚ without arousing suspicion. Guard Tour's advanced functionality allows you to customize tours‚ assign guards to specific or random tours‚ impose time constraints‚ and generate alarms when tour conditions have been breached.

SiPass Module-Graphics
The SiPass graphics option enables you to design, import, and construct custom graphic maps. These maps are then used by security operators to handle alarm conditions visually, and continually monitor the status of any point within the access control and security system.

Graphic maps are integrated with the SiPass integrated monitoring system. This ensures that when the status of any component at your facility changes, it is dynamically represented by a symbol on a graphic map. This dynamic updating of symbols, alerts the security operator to a change of condition, allowing them to respond with an appropriate and timely action.

The comprehensive suite of graphics tools provided by SiPass integrated make it possible for any facility to create its own graphic maps easily. Within minutes you can construct a map including a full layout of your facility, dynamically changing symbols that represent points within your system, and shortcuts to other maps or frequently used functions.
